This is a toy that measures 12 inches tall and 7 inches wide (at the widest point)

This little clown isn’t scary at all :) I found that most clowns looked scary and I wouldn’t want my child to have them as a constant companion, with this little guy you won’t have any worries about that. He would make a lovely companion to hug and to hold.

There aren’t too many choices of dolls for little boys, so I think this may fit the bill, even little boys needed a cuddle companion :)

tools required:
yarn, small amount of yarn or embroidery floss for the mouth, 4 mm hook, polyester stuffing, 12 mm safety eyes, tapestry needle, 2 decorative buttons and a stitch marker.

Gauge is not important.

This is an advanced beginner project.

Stitches that you should know how to do: sc, BLO, FLO, sl st, sc2tog, ch, Magic ring or circle and double crochet.

Red heart super saver yarn in royal blue, paddy green and pale yellow, you will not use all of the skein, possibly only about 1/4 of a ball each. you will also require a small amount of patons astra (aran colour) for the head. and also a small amount of impeccable loops and thread (pumpkin colour) for the hair

This is an original pattern, please do not reproduce or distribute in any way or publish as your own.

You are free to do whatever you like with your finished toy :) links would be greatly appreciated. Please keep in mind that this toy should not be given to a child less than 3 years of age, due to the choking hazard of the safety eyes.
