GENERAL INFORMATION
This pattern uses British terminology, Amigurumi is worked in continuous rounds so it is important to use stich markers or even just a piece of wool to remember where the rows begin and end. Try to keep your stiches as tight as you can without distorting the piece as this will help to keep shape when stuffing.
It is important to use the correct hook size for the wool you are using as using a large hook with thin wool will result in gaping around stiches and stuffing falling out
This is an advanced pattern due to shaping of tail
MATERIALS
Weedy Sea Dragons can come in lots of different colours with simple leaf fins or Leafy Sea Dragons can be covered, the colours are a personal preference as well as how many fins you would like to add. This pattern uses 2 colours, but you could use a whole rainbow and make as many fins as you like. Embroidery is used to add colour and texture to the weedy dragon, tips are given in the appendix, but again this is a personal preference with choice of colours and positioning or even embellishment with sequins or bead (if you do choose to sew on anything please do not gift your Weedy dragon to any child under the age of 3)
