This is a mosaic throw.
This is an intermediate level pattern: it doesn’t teach you Mosaic Crochet technique, but it’s assumed you are already familiar with it.

The pattern includes 15 different mosaic tiles, 1 big tile (worked in a mix of tapestry and mosaic crochet techniques) and 3 borders.

“Amore e Psiche” is a tale written by Apuleio in “Metamorfosi, o l’Asino d’Oro”.
The main character, Lucio, is turned into a donkey by a magic mistake and some thieves used him to transport a gold treasure in their cove where an old woman that takes care of the thieves tells the story of Amore and Psiche to a young reaped girl to make her stop criyng.
Apuleio follows the cult of Isis and he inserts elements of the initiatory path of the cult of Isis into his book.
