An exercise in strategic increasing and decreasing. After many (many) attempts, countless times frogging, reworking and miscounting stitches, I finally got a shape I liked.

Dittos are my second favourite ‘Mon, because they try so hard. Makes you wanna give ‘em a big squishy hug.

Instructions include a variation for making an amigurumi/cushion. If you are attempting this instead of a hat, it may be a good idea to use smaller needles than recommended for the yarn you are using.

I’ve checked the stitch counts twice, but if you spot any mistakes, please let me know. I’ll try to fix it when I get a spare moment.

Stitches used: K, K2tog, s1 K1 psso, M1R, M1L, grafting by Kitchener stitch, running stitch
