Amphi Mitts are fingerless mitts featuring checkered slip-stitch colorwork on one side and stripes on the other. Both of these techniques involve working with only one color at a time. The ribbing is done in a 3rd neutral color for a polished look.

These mitts can be worn with stripes showing or the checkered slip-stitch pattern showing on both hands.

The word “Amphi” is a prefix that means on both sides, on all sides, or double.

Amphi is one of four patterns from CUTILITARIAN KNITS, designed for Malabrigo MFPP Collection. Read more about it here on Malabrigo’s blog.
