Enjoy my Amphora shawlette pattern. I’d love it if you added the pattern to your faves and wish you happy knitting. If you want to knit yours from a knit kit as I did, they available in my online yarn shop Yarnz2go.

The Amphora is a petite shawl, knitted from the top down in a tru crescent shape. I incorporated build in vents to make sure that the final shape does not have that familiar middle bump.

You can wear it as a shawl, cowl, scarf or as kerchief. We all love multiple options, don’t we? Simple eyelets grow the shawl all along the edges and a lovely lace pattern gets repeated along the bottom edge with a thick and thin textured yarn as shown here to add more personality.

The pattern is fully written and includes a chart for the lace as well.
The blocked piece measures 55“ in overall length and 14“ in middle height.

The yarn used here
A skein of Lightly, perfectly arranged with a fingering weight and 6 portions of lace weight. Each skein holds 238 yards.
A mini skein of a thick and thin cotton yarn, 30 yards.
The knit kits are available at Yarnz2go.
