“Amtrack” are knitted fingerless mittens that use a series of decreases and increases to create a formed fit around the wrist. The cuffs are long so when pulled up they cover your forearms. Due to the wrist shaping you are able to scrunch them so they “bag” around your wrists without slipping onto your hands.

US 8 double pointed needles were used for all three sizes. The photos are as follows:
Small size = ShiBui = black
Medium size = Jade Sapphire = grays and greens
Large size = Schaefer = purple, pinks and greens

The pattern can be downloaded directly from Ravelry or from my web site: http://www.helenbinghamdesigns.com.
