Last summer, my daughter’s friend commented on how much they liked the socks I had knitted so I knitted them a pair. They were leaving for university and my daughter gifted them the socks the last time she saw them before they left. As I was knitting the socks, they were known simply as Amy’s socks. This summer my own daughter will be leaving for university. She will be taking a pair of Amy’s socks with her.

This design is perfect for adding just a little something to a plain or self-striping yarn or for a beginner cable project.
The cables run up the side of the leg and foot and mirror each other, therefore remember to knit the correct instructions for each leg.
