I designed this wreath as part of the March 2020 Pinterest Challenge, hosted by County Road 407. The inspiration comes from the Garden Hose Spring Wreath from Create.Craft.Love. Key elements that stuck out to me were: teal base, red and yellow flowers (that I took for orange) and a yellow bow. It’s named after my mom - Ana. She LOVES to garden, and with a garden theme, it only seemed fitting for this one to be made for her.

Materials:

  • Worsted Weight Yarn - I used 185 Yards + Small Amount for Hanger of Red Heart’s Ombre in Spearmint (Wreath Base & Hanger), and Red Heart’s Super Saver in Pumpkin (Flowers), Bright Yellow (Bow), and Tea Leaf (Leaves)
  • H8/5mm Crochet Hook
  • Tapestry Needle for Weaving in Ends
  • Hot Glue Gun and Sticks
  • Small Beads for Flower Centers - I used 9 6mm glass pearls in gold
  • 12” Styrofoam Wreath - mine is Floracraft brand from JoAnn’s

Yarn Alternatives: Bernat’s Super Value Yarn, Caron’s One Pound.

Time Spent: This wreath took about 4 hours, 45 minutes.

Creates: 12” Wreath
