This hot water bottle cover is knit from the bottom up, starting with Judy’s Magic Cast On. It features a lovely flea stitch and a ribbed neck to keep your hot water bottle warmer for longer!

This pattern comes with a calculator to input the dimensions of your hot water bottle so that the cover fits perfectly. Due to this, the amount of yarn is variable. However, my mini hot water bottle cover used less than 50g and standard hot water bottles should be less than 100g.

Anchiale was the Greek titan of the warmth of fire. She was also the sister of Prometheus, the titan who gave fire to mankind. As hot water bottles are meant to bring warmth, I though Anchiale was a fitting name!
