Size:
37-38 (39-40) 41-42
Size depends on gauge. Gauge used to make these instructions is 10x10cm = 32 sts, 36rows. If your gauge differs remarkably, consider using instructions of a different size.
Circumference of leg is approximately 20-21 (23-24) 26-27 cm and circumference of foot 19-20 (21-23) 24-25 cm. Notice that the sock stretches. Length of the leg is about 25 cm.

Yarn:
Ficolina Arwetta Classic:
40g 105 slate green
25g 810 chrysanthemum
20g 812 granite
25g 135 straw
10g 102 black
Or other yarn the same thickness (210 m/ 50 g).

Needles:
2,5mm – 3,0mm or size required to get gauge right

You also need:
Blunt sewing needle
Stitch markers

Other notes:
The socks are worked from the cuff to toe, the beginning of the round is behind the leg.
The instructions are made for knitting with 4 double pointed needles, but you may use magic loop technique (or any other) if you prefer that.

Hope You enjoy knitting my design!
When I started designing Ancient Wisdom socks, I found inspiration from historic art and textiles. I scanned through museum webpages and books about ancient art and made tens of small pattern sketches.
Afterwards I could not choose which ones to use. So, I decided to see how many of those I could include into one sock! Then I got bit out of control, and decided to try to fit in as many colors as reasonably possible :D
Surprisingly they turned out to be quite fancy. I would use words like vivid and bohemian to describe these socks.

I wish you a fun and vibrant knitting moments!
