Anemone nemorosa – wood anemone
Native to Europe.
Early-spring flowering beautiful little white flower, associated in Finland with Mothers Day.
Also the inspiration for Simbelmyne, a flower in the legendarium of Middle Earth by J.R.R Tolkien.

The pattern has both written and charted instructions for toe up and cuff down construction and comes in stitch sizes 56 (S), 64 (M) and 72 (L) sts.

The pattern is written for magic loop, but can easily be modified for double pointed needles.

The pictured socks are knitted toe up, on the cuff down version the pattern is upside down due the nature of lace knitting.
