I was asked recently to make a baby cocoon, it evolved into this pattern for a little sleeping bag. I went with this design because tiny angel babies have very delicate skin so I made sure that this pend up completely, then folds back over and has a choice of ribbon or button fastening.

This is also very easy to make larger just by making the hood section larger and this in turn will give you extra stitches for the main section hence wider, you just crochet extra rows until your happy with the length.

I used Stylecraft Special DK because I find it soft enough for babies, but you can use any baby DK yarn.

I hope your like this design, happy hooking x
