NOTES:
Cardigan begins with the back which is cast on at the hem and worked to the underarm. Stitches are cast on for sleeves, then the yoke and sleeves are worked together to the back neck. The back neck is then bound off, and each sleeve is worked separately, with bind offs worked to match first sleeve shaping. After piece is blocked and sleeves seamed, the left and right collar halves are each started on a provisional cast on. When each collar half is the length of half the back neck, sts are cast on along the front edges and the front panel and collar are worked as a single piece. Collar cast-on stitches are then seamed to the back neck and joined with a three-needle BO in the center.
