This is a nice, easy and fast pattern for beginners or intermediate knitters. It is customized to fit babies from birth to around 12 months.

-------- MATERIALS NEEDED --------

4mm circular needles
yarn needle
3 or 4 buttons (around 2cm)
Aran (8wpi) yarn (16 to 20 sts for 4 inches in 5.5mm) (Examples : Universal yarn uptown worsted, berroco vintage, caron simply soft, loops & thread soft & shiny)

-------- KNOWLEDGE --------
Knit and purl
circular knitting (magic loop)
k2tog
Cast off and cast on for the button holes (video link in pattern)

Finished hat size (flat) : 19 cm wide by 18 cm tall
