Marshal - the small squirrel villager who doesn’t let his size get in the way of his attitude!

Marshal’s one of my favourite Animal Crossing characters and I just had to capture his cuteness in a tiny knitted form. At such a small scale, he requires only scrap amounts of yarn and can be completed in just a few hours. The finished piece measures roughly 6cm tall, but can be scaled up with thicker yarn and needles.

This pattern is worked in the round using double-pointed needles, and uses techniques such as I-cord, colour changes and basic seaming and embroidery for the assembly and finishing details.

Materials required:

• DK acrylic yarn in cream, navy, white, light pink and light grey
• Embroidery/sewing thread in black, light brown and cream
• Small amount of cream and lilac felt
• Four 3.25mm double-pointed needles
• Tapestry needle
• Embroidery needle
• Stuffing
