Who could resist the charm of Roald’s rotund body and that soulless stare?

This iconic penguin villager can now be created in tiny knitted form! At such a small scale, he requires only scrap amounts of yarn and can be completed in just a few hours. The finished piece measures roughly 8cm tall, but can be scaled up with thicker yarn and needles.

This pattern is worked in the round using double-pointed needles, and incorporates a small amount of charted colourwork and basic sewing skills for assembling all the pieces together.

Materials required:

• DK acrylic yarn in dark blue, red, yellow and cream
• Sewing thread in black, white and light orange
• Small amount of felt in black, white and light orange
• Four 3.25mm double-pointed needles
• Tapestry needle
• Sewing needle
• Stuffing
