Wade is my absolute favourite villager and I just had to do my part to rectify the lack of merch available for him!

With just scrap amounts of yarn and a few hours, you can have your own adorable lazy penguin in tiny knitted form. The finished piece measures roughly 8cm tall, but can be scaled up with thicker yarn and needles.

This pattern is worked in the round using double-pointed needles, and incorporates techniques such as colourwork and basic sewing and embroidery for the assembly and finishing details. It also includes two different design options for the shirt so you can customise him to your preferred look :)

Materials required:

• DK acrylic yarn in white, pale blue, black, dark grey, medium grey and light grey
• Four 3.25mm double-pointed needles
• Small amount of felt in black, white, light orange and medium blue
• Sewing thread in black, white, light orange and medium blue
• Tapestry needle
• Sewing needle
• Stuffing
