The Anisoptera sock pattern is inspired by the majestic Dragonfly. It is a top down sock with heel flap and gusset construction and includes charted and written instructions. The Dragonfly design on the leg of the sock is worked both on the front and the back. On the Craft House Magic YouTube channel there are tutorials on the long tail cast on, knitting a top down sock, and how to knit a bobble stitch to help with this pattern. Requirements
For Fingering (4 ply) weight yarn at least 50g main colour and 20g of contrast yarn or 100g of a single colour. For DK weight yarn you will need at least 100g of main colour and 20g of contrast yarn. For larger sized feet (larger than a UK size 6) you may need more (120g of 4ply or 150g DK).
Stitch markers, one progress keeper and 2.5 mm (Fingering / 4ply yarn) or 3.25mm (DK yarn) needles. You will need at least a 60cm cable for magic loop. Most people use 80cm cables for knitting one sock at a time and 100cm for two at a time socks.
