About ANJO II
We adapted the widely popular ANJO shawl for new knitters. Beside the garter stitch edge every row is worked
throughout in Stockinette or reverse Stockinette stitch. You don’t have to count your stitches anymore as for the original
ANJO. The cascaded look, which gives the shawl its charm, stays intact.
With new knitters in mind we chose Shio as the yarn for ANJO II. It is an extremely soft merino wool with a distinct stitch
definition. We recommend to hold the yarn quadruple or quintuple for ANJO II. Working multi-stranded is suitable for
new knitters as well: put all cones in a small box and work them held together as one strand. The color palette contains
25 colors for endless combinations. Due to the generous yardage (525 yards per cone), one cone each color is
enough for the shawl.
