Knit these ribbed ankle warmies in the round from the top down to keep your ankles and lower legs warm or wear them as boot toppers. They are knit with three different ribbing stitches to hug your legs and ankles. This pattern is written using 140 yards of DK weight yarn and size 6 (4 mm) knitting needles. Use your favorite method of knitting in the round to knit these 7” long x 11” around ankle warmies. They should stretch up to 16-17” around. It’s easy to adjust the size by casting on more or fewer stitches in multiples of 6 sts or use a different weight of yarn with different size needles. Make them longer if you have more yarn to work with. Enjoy!
