Escalator is a shallow triangle scarf crocheted from the top down in two or more colors of yarn, a long color run yarn, or leftovers. Colors can be changed every row or as desired. The scarf begins with one block and each row adds two more blocks over it in steps going uphill and downhill. The pattern was written for DK or a light worsted weight yarn (300-574 yards) and a size H (5 mm) crochet hook. The finished scarf measured 86” neckline x 13.5” deep unblocked with 574 yards of yarn. It can be made in any weight of yarn you desire to any size you wish. The four page pattern has written instructions and a crochet chart.
