Anne Mittens
These mittens combine the traditional art of selbu patterns with a modern twist of hand dyed yarn. I really wanted to make a pair of mittens that let the variegated yarn really show, at the same time as it let’s the pattern itself show.
These are fairly quick to make up, and are perfect for gifts for you loved ones, or for yourself. You can ofcourse choose to make them from commercial yarns like Rauma 3-ply for a less busy look.
To make thesse mittens you will need 50 grams of each color for women, but you might need up to 60 grams of the main color for men size mittens.
