Pattern begins with a picot cast on that is explained in the instructions. Modified Eye of Partridge heel flap with sts pick up for gusset. Toes finished with Kitchener Stitch.

Circumference size is not easily modified as the stitch pattern is in multiples of 16. The best way to adjust the circumference is to adjust the needle size and/or yarn used. The length of the foot is customizable by adding or reducing the number of rows knit before the toe decreases.

Gauge is approximate with this yarn, which is very stretchy and can accommodate a variety of leg shapes and sizes. 1 skein(400 yds) of fingering weight/sock yarn should be plenty for these socks.

Pattern is written for a 9” U.S. size 2 circular needle and size 2 DPNs. Pattern can easily be modified to be knit entirely on DPNs if preferred.
