A perfectly shaped ribbed hat, suitable for knitters of all levels. The pattern includes different options for the cast-on and links to video tutorials. Length is adjustable to obtain a fitted and a slouchy version.

Finished circumference: 30 / 34 / 36 / 38 / 42 / 46 cm (11.75 / 13.5 / 14.25 / 15 / 16.5 / 18 inches) to fit a head circumference of: 38–45 / 42–49 / 44–51 / 46–53 / 50–57 / 54–61 cm (15–17.75 / 16.5–19.25 / 17.25–20 / 18–20.75 / 19.75–22.5 / 21.25–24 inches), to be worn with negative ease of 8–15 cm (3.25–6 inches)

This height is for a slouchy fit. The pattern includes instructions for a more fitted version (it’s up to 3 cm (1.25 inches) shorter).

NEEDLES

Circular needles in size 5 mm (US 8) or size to obtain gauge, with a length of 40 cm (16 inches)
Optional: double-pointed needles in the same size to work the crown

You can work the entire hat with circular needles using the magic loop method or start with circular needles and switch to double-pointed needles for the crown.

GAUGE

20 sts x 28 rounds = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) in 2x2 rib, after blocking (for reference: the gauge for your yarn should be 20 sts x 28 rounds = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) when working in stockinette stitch, after blocking)

Die Mütze kann komplett mit Rundstricknadeln (Magic-Loop-Methode) gestrickt oder mit Rundstricknadeln begonnen und mit einem Nadelspiel beendet werden.
