A poncho-shawl-cowl, this trendy accessory can be used in so many different ways ! It is a true poncho worn with the ‘point’ to the front, or a lovely shawl when you put the pointy edging to 1 side. Or maybe you prefer to wrap it around your neck as a snuggly cowl ?

Named after Ans, a lovely lady who helps me out by checking and testing so many of my patterns, I often call her ‘eagle-eye Ans’ ! She deserves a design named after her.

This design starts as a triangular shawl, worked from the point upwards by making increases on 1 side. Next a ‘rectangular part’ is being made, creating the neck opening and the rounded back part.
You finish by making the lovely coloured side parts while crocheting the ‘poncho-shawl-cowl’ together, seamlessly.
A handy icord is added, not only as a eyecatching detail, but also to give you the opportunity to play with the design and make it your own !

Yarn : 1000 m of fingering weight yarn, 100 m of yarn for the side parts and 50m of yarn for the icord.

Fully written pattern in English and Dutch, with charts and schematics.
