About the Knitting Pattern
Bring festive cheer with this children’s Christmas hat featuring an antler motif and a bright red pompom nose. Knitted using double knitting (DK) wool, the hat has a folded double rib brim and a larger brown-and-white pompom to the crown. Design Details
The hat is worked flat on straight needles and seamed. A chart is provided for the antler motif.

• 4–5 years
• 6–7 years
• 8–9 years
• 10-11 years

Skills Level
Intermediate. Written instructions are included, but experience working from a chart is required for the motif.

Yarn
The pattern requires double knitting wool (equivalent to USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply). Shown knitted in Robin Bonny Babe DK shades: Cream (1366), Mink (143), and Red (042).

Needles
• 3.25 mm (USA 3) and 4.0 mm (USA 6) straight needles.
