Anton Sweater is knitted from the top down with raglan increases. A neckline is shaped with short rows after the ribbing at the neck. The sweater is worked in a textured pattern that is divided into five segments throughout the entire piece – on the front, back, and sleeves. These segments are separated by two rounds of purl stitches, creating a visual break between the patterns.

Make a swatch before you begin to determine your gauge – note that both the stitch and row gauge must match to ensure the finished measurements correspond to those listed on the front page. You can make a swatch following the chart included in the pattern.

Choosing a size:
Anton Sweater has a positive ease of approximately 15 cm compared to your chest measurement. Measure yourself before you begin knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if your chest (or the widest part of your torso) measures 95 cm, you should knit a size S. A size S sweater has a bust circumference of 110 cm and would, in this case, provide a positive ease of approximately 15 cm.
