A swingy, breezy A-line top perfect for late summer, early
fall, when warm days are for bare arms and cooler evenings call for the warmth of wool. Because of the inherent stretch of garter stitch, this simple top is knit in two flat pieces seamed at the sides. Choice of written instructions or chart for center lace panel.

Sizes: 31 (34, 38, 42)“ (chest circumference). Model wears size 34. Length: 23 (23, 24, 24) from top of shoulder to bottom border.
Materials:
Yarn: Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool (45% wool, 35% silk, 20% nylon) – 5 (5, 6, 6) skeins, or 850 (935, 1045, 1155) yards.
Needles: US 5 (straight or circular).
Gauge: 24 sts and 42 rows over 4 inches with US 5 needles in garter stitch.
