I made this tote as my 2nd overall project when learning to knit last year and have had so much wonderful feedback from it, that I finally decided to write down the pattern to share with others.

INGREDIENTS
Yarn:
~1,278 yd of Lion Brand Fishermen’s Wool Worsted weight 100% Pure Virgin Wool containing natural oils (choose all one color or any combination of 2+ colors per your desired pattern)
Needle:
Size 11/8mm circular needles or size needed to obtain desired gauge
22” cord length, bringing the total length, with needles attached, to 32”
Other Materials:
½-1 yd of lining fabric & matching thread
1 Large Decorative Pin, or Button for decoration
Optional – fusible interfacing to stiffen bottom or sides of bag if desired/needed

Stitches Used:
Cast On
Knit
Bind Off

I felted this tote deeply to give myself a very thick fabric. I also added grommets for each of the strap holes, to provide more stability and durability.
I am planning on adding a lining with pockets and metal feet to better protect the bottom as well.

I wrote these instructions up very quickly, so please let me know if you find any errors or it reads confusing in any way.
