Apatite is a simple, meditative, textured sock pattern that will keep your interest, while still being easy to memorize. You can enjoy knitting these while watching your favorite show or movie, attending knit circle with friends, or simply putting a few rows on in your spare time.

Apatite is a gemstone that looks similar to tourmaline in its blue green form and comes in yellow, green, pink, purple, violet, clear, and cat’s eye. The yarn I used reminded me of minerals and this gemstone.

Yarn : 100 grams/437 yards of fingering weight yarn. Sample knit in: Lolo Did It Awesome Sock in The Breakfast Club Colorway

Needles : US 0/ 2.00mm - 32” cable for Magic Loop, but you could use whatever method you like for small circumference knitting.

Gauge : Approx 8-9 sts per inch in stockinette.
