DESCRIPTION
Aperture is a reminder that we need to always let our inner light shine and not be diminished. Every voice matters and needs to be heard for us all to continue to grow as a society. Wherever in the world you live, you can still have an impact.
 
The Women’s Suffrage Movement in the United States was a time in history when women fought and won the right to vote. The colors of that movement are purple and yellow. You can choose these colors for your Aperture cowldana to show your craftivist spirit or make yours in your favorite power color.
 
Aperture is for all craftivists. This pattern supports adventurous beginners who want to try lace for the first time. It also is a great pattern for experienced knitters who want a simple, relaxing knit that has deep meaning.

This pattern has been tech edited.

CONSTRUCTION
This design is worked flat from the bottom tip of the bandana section and then joined in the round to work a cowl section.

YARN & YARDAGE
This cowldana was designed with one skein of Lady Dye Yarns 100% superwash merino fingering weight yarn. The skein used was 425 yds/389m in the colorway, Grape Jelly.
