Aplomb is a generously-proportioned, shoulder-hugging, beyond-crescent-shaped shawl featuring row-upon-row of squishy garter stitch and finished off with a flourish of feathery lace “plumage.”

The shawl is worked from the top down—beginning with a garter stitch tab—in two colors (one skein each) of Madelinetosh’s soft and luxurious Pashmina, and uses a modified half-pi construction and knitted-on lace edging to achieve its expansive width and curvaceous silhouette.

The 5-page, full-color pattern contains written instructions for the body and edging of the shawl, as well as a chart for the edging.

The crochet hook is used only for the provisional cast-on.
