This shrug is inspired by a knit one seen worn by Claire in the TV adaptation of Outlander. Initially seen when she first meets Geilis Duncan while out collecting herbs for her medical supplies. I loved the bulky and cozy look of the one she was wearing but wanted to crochet one with a similar sort of texture to it.

This pattern is more a repetition of certain stitches, crocheting a very wide rectangle and seaming arms into it after. to make bigger or smaller, one can simply do more or less repetitions as needed.
