this pattern reads from bottom to top.

abbriviations:
ch= chain
sc= single crochet
fo= fasten off

to change color with intarsia: insert hook into stitch yarn over and draw up a loop. with two loops on hook yarn over a new colour and pull through both loops, continue with new colour until pattern calls to change.
