To create this funky bag, you will need to have a basic grasp of a magic ring, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, increasing and decreasing with the types of stitches mentioned above. This pattern in in US terms. There are many free YouTube videos referencing this topic if you need a refresher.

The pattern uses a 5mm hook. A similar sized hook (4.5, 4.75, 5.25, 5.5) would work but may give slightly different results. A smaller hook will use less yarn and a larger hook will use more yarn. I wrote this pattern using a 5mm hook and size 4 acrylic yarn so change those two things at your own discretion!

Yarn needed.. using size 4:
Seed color (8 grams or 17 meters approx.)
Core color (72 grams or 147 meters approx.)
Apple skin color and strap (170 grams or 347 meters approx.)
A small amount would be needed to create the worm and the leaf as well.
