I enjoyed knitting this sweet baby blanket - an easy 2 row pattern with a simple zig zag stitch and enough interest to keep me engaged throughout.

Requires:
DK yarn (around 150g - 180g of acrylic DK)
4mm needles

Tension:
24sts = 4” (10cm)

Size:
24” x 26”
(and easy to adjust – you can cast on any even number of stitches)

I also added instructions for a variation with added columns of stocking stitch - and I think it looks great this way too.

A baby blanket is a lovely gift for a new baby.
