After skiing (or shopping!), pop this comfy poncho on while sipping hot-toddies by the fire and you’ll be cozy warm in no time. Apres Ski is a fun, knit-in-the-round from the top, yoke-styled poncho that is as fun to knit as it is to wear.

The full poncho is 24-inches form neck to hem with a 100-inch circumference at the hem. If you’d like to make a shorter version, I include directions for making a 14-inch (neck to hem) with an 80” circumference (basically finishes after the final colorwork panel and then adds the garter hem).

This roomy design will fit most.

The colorwork is charted with written directions for the hidden increases which give the design the curved shape.

Knit in a wool/acrylic blend, this beauty requires approx 400 (1000) yards of MC and approx 200 yards of each of four contrasting colors. Sample used Kraemer’s Perfection – 30% Superwash Merino/70% acrylic.
