PATTERN DETAILS

April Cardigan is worked bottom up starting with a ribbed hem and continuing with a lovely yet simple lace pattern on the back. The cardigan has a loose fit with drop shoulders and tight sleeves.

Size: XS (S, M/L, XL/XXL, 3XL, 4XL) with bust circumference 93.5 (107, 120, 133.5, 147, 160) cm, recommended to be worn with 15-25 cm positive ease. Sample is size S with 22 cm positive ease.

Yarn: 300 (400, 400, 500, 500, 500) grams of Cheeky Merino Joy by Rosy Green Wool (100 g = 320 m)

Gauge (after blocking): 24 sts and 32 rows is 10x10 cm in stockinette and lace on larger needle size and 26 sts and 34 rows in ribbing on smaller needle size

Needles: 50 cm and 80-100 cm circular needles 3.25 mm and 3 mm (for ribbed hem and button bands) or the sizes you need to obtain gauge, DPN’s 3 and 3.25 mm for sleeves if you are not using magic loop

Other supplies: scrap yarn, stitch markers
