This is a fun sock for experienced knitters. The sock is knit sideways on straight needles in illusion knit style. From one direction you see vertical stripes, from another, horizontal. The sock incorporates leg shaping which gives it an interesting look from the back, and a comfortable fit. Painted yarns add to the interest and lend a dappled look to the sock.

The April Fool sock is part of a collection of socks from “The Eclectic Sole”
