The center lace panel is something I originated based off a more common stitch I like to use a lot, I have no idea what its real name is but I got it from a sock pattern and I stick with it because it’s easy and looks hard.

The cables on the side are Little Twist from Barbara Walker. The overall effect is a quick knit for my April Fool.

I also like the names Crosshatch Scarf and Tally Marks for this pattern based on the lace leans.

This pattern is for a version that includes a very cute simple 4 row cable on both sides of the lace, but you can also knit the pattern as it is shown in the picture.
