April Scarf is your new striped scarf obsession with a twist! Worked in two halves, this triangle features striking vertical stripes on one side and classic horizontal ones on the other. Every edge is finished with a sophisticated, rounded double-knitted border and a smooth bind-off.

April Scarf is knitted in the softest yarn imaginable, Aara Yarn Hellu, a blend of baby alpaca, cashmere, and silk that is an absolute treat against the skin.

MATERIALS
Yarn: 2 skeins of Hellu by Aara Yarn. Approx. 730 yds (665 m) of lace-weight yarn held double: 400 yds (365 m) in C1 and 330 yds (300 m) in C2. Sample shown in colourways Taival (C1, blue) and Milo (C2, pink). Note: each colour is held double throughout the scarf, even for the edging. You can also use a single strand of fingering weight yarn.

Needles: US 3 (3.25 mm) circular needles, 40” (100 cm) long or longer. For the edge it is useful to have a longer circular needle if you have one.
