This shawl is based on the formulations of Elizabeth Zimmerman’s Pi shawl. You will start your shawl using double-pointed needles working in the round. As soon as your shawl is large enough, you can transfer it to the 16” circular needle. Once you have transferred your stitches to a circular needle, mark the beginning of the round with a stitch marker. Move to the next length of needles as stitches become crowded

Materials: Approximately 1200 yards Lace weight
Finished size: approx. 56-60 inches in diameter
Model: Rowan Fine Lace 2.25 skeins

Size 5 circular needle– 16, 24, 32, and 40 inch
Double pointed needles US 5. Stitch Markers
Fine crochet hook for adding beads.
Size 6/0 beads.

Gauge: Approximately 6 stitches to the inch (blocked) in stockinette stitch.
