There’s nothing quite like a good spring rain shower - and this design celebrates the April Showers all across the world. Simple lace eyelets dotted along this headband are reminiscent of rain drops falling to the ground during these beautiful spring showers

In designing this simple headband, I paired delicate lace eyelets with trusty stockinette stitch to create a fun, drapey spring headband - perfect for this change in season!

Finished Measurements: 17” circumference x 3.5” width (will fit up to a 23” head - circumference is adjustable by knitting more lace repeats for the size you need)

Yarn: 1 skein of Knit Picks Stroll in the Peapod colorway - OR 70 yards of a similar fingering weight yarn

Needles: US size 4 / 3.5 mm 16” circular needle

Note: Pattern is knit flat. You may wish to use straight needles or short DPN’s. Whatever works for you!

Gauge: 28 sts x 40 rows = 4” in lace pattern

Note: Gauge isn’t crucial - as long as you knit it to the right length for your head, this headband will work for you!

Additional Supplies: Stitch makers (optional), tapestry needle, scissors, blocking mats + blocking pins

Pattern is very beginner friendly. The lace is simple and easy to follow - not to mention incredibly easy to memorize!
