Project 5: Red Tweed with Contrasting Neck and Aqua Silver Turtlenecks

These are dress up party sweaters made for weekends and holidays, or for going to the movies, the theater or to gatherings. They’re simply another variation on my basic turtleneck, but so much more dressy. I always feel pretty when I wear one of these two sweaters, one a red tweed with a contrasting neck, the other an aqua silvery yarn. For each, I mixed a nubby yarn with a mohair. The nubs have some flecks of color that make it festive, and the mohair makes it so soft, almost ethereal.
