The name for this bag comes from Aragorn Elessar, also known as Strider. As a Ranger he wore green and brown, the colors of my bag. The stitches wander over it, but are not lost.
The pattern requires knowledge of the Honeycomb cable stitch. As I do not know quite how to word the instructions for it in a not-confusing way, I refer you to a good stitch dictionary. It is simple once you get the hang of it.
