The Arbors Head & Neck Scarf is a super-quick, knit accessory. Designed to coordinate with the Arbors Tee or Cardigan (coming soon), you can use scraps from that project to make one of these! Or, stashbust around gift-giving time and churn one out in 3-4 hours. The samples shown used 30-50 yards (a mini, or less) of yarn, each.

Need a belt? Just make sure you have enough yarn, and make it longer.

As with my other Head & Neck scarves, Arbors starts with an i-cord tail/tie, increases to a desired width, and is then worked flat to the desired length; you then decrease back to the i-cord stitch-count, and finish the i-cord tail/tie on the other side.

The lace is a simple yarn-over with k2 pattern, which I did not chart because it’s so straightforward.

Two samples shown are done in two completely different yarns - one hemp blend with minimal stretch and a narrower width (2.5 in with the edging); and one wool blend with bounce and a wider width (closer to 3.5 in with the edging).

Every bit of this is customizable - length of the ties, number of increases/width of the straight section, etc - just be sure you keep track of your yarn consumption!
