Arc is a bottom-up easy-fit Crew Neck vest with a split hem, pockets and curved Garter Stitch edging to the armholes.
It starts with a split 2 x 2 rib hem, slightly longer in the back than the front. The two hem sections are then joined and knit in the round until the underarms where the work is separated.
The upper front and back are worked with a knitted-on curved Garter Stitch border. The difference in row tension between the Stocking Stitch and Garter Stitch at the armhole edges is adjusted with short rows without wrapping stitches. German Short Rows are worked on the shoulder shaping section.
The shoulders are then joined with 3-Needle Cast-Off and the vest finished with a ribbed crew neck.
