Named and inspired by George a lovely gentleman I met on a cruise who suggested naming the sock after the ship, Arcadia.

This pattern is for a textured sock knitted on 9” Circular Needles and is a straight forward easy pattern

Pattern is written for a cast on of 64 sts but can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the stitch count by multiple of 4 sts and the length can be adjusted - see below

The heel is a modified German Short Row heel, but alternative heel techniques will work.

The pattern works well with self striping, variegated and solid colour 4ply sock yarn and contrasting cuff, heels, toes can be incorporated

See the Group for adjusting sizes ( heel )
