Archipelago is a semi-crescent lace shawl with a pattern reminiscent of gentle waves lapping the shore.

It is a fairly easy shawl to knit but gives a beautiful result. A wide lace border creates little waves on the water. The upper edge is picked up and knit in garter stitch which mimics the ripples when the water reaches the sand.

The Archipelago shawl is adapted for the yarn Cheeky Merino Joy from Rosy Green Wool, a lovely sport weight merino yarn that is so soft you will want to cuddle it.
